KUWAIT CITY, March 13: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) emphasized the importance of adhering to traffic regulations and security instructions to ensure the safety of everyone, particularly children, as the Gargee'an holiday approaches. The MoI also highlighted the strict measures it has taken to maintain traffic safety and protect children.

In a statement issued by the General Department of Public Relations and Security Media, the ministry underscored the prohibition of closing internal roads in residential areas. It also banned the use of recreational vehicles, folklore bands, and food carts in these areas, citing concerns over traffic obstruction and potential danger to public safety. The ministry warned that strict legal action would be taken against violators.

The MoI urged parents to closely monitor their children and not rely on domestic workers to ensure their safety. It also called on drivers to reduce their speed and stay alert on both internal and public roads to prevent accidents.

Additionally, the MoI revealed that it had implemented a comprehensive security and traffic plan for the holy month of Ramadan. This plan includes deploying both fixed and mobile security patrols across various governorates to enhance security and public safety.
