DOHA, Feb 15 : Kuwait Motor Clubs achieved advanced positions in the sixth and final round of the Arab Drag Race Championship in the Qatari capital, Doha. The Kuwait Motor Club racers succeeded in securing several top spots in the championship, which concluded on Friday evening, including crowning racer Abdulaziz Al-Suwailem as the season champion in the (5.8 index) category. Racer Muhammad Zaman won third place in the (0.9 index) category, while Abdulwahab Al- Saleem took second place in the (Pro Street Bike) category. Racer Hussein Al-Maqseed claimed first place in the (8.4 index) category. Muhammad Al-Salem of the (965 Motor Club) secured first place in the (Street Bike) category, while his teammate Muhammad Al-Awad earned second place in the (Pro Bike) category. Racers from the Basil Al-Sabah Motor Racing Club also won several top positions. Ahmed Karam took first place in the (5.8 bikes) category, Ali Rakan placed first in the (5.8 index) category, and Fahad Al-Khawari came in second in the (0.9 index) category. In the (Street Bike) category, Mohammed Al-Matrouk secured second place, while Musa Al-Balushi finished third. In the (8.4 index) category, Abdullah Al-Qallaf took third place. Abdulrahman Burbaa and Mubarak Al-Awad claimed first and second places, respectively, in the (5.4 index) category.
In the (0.4 index) category, Ammar Hamid earned second place, and Badr Khorshid placed third. In the (Pro Bike) category, Mishaal Al-Saber took first place, while Ahmed bin Bilal and Mishari Al-Marri finished second and third, respectively, in the (Super Street Bike) category. Jaber Al-Maghribi came in third in the (Super Street Pro) category, while Turki Al-Dhafiri won first place in the (Super Street Outlaw) category. Basil Club competitors dominated the first three places in the (Pro NA) category, with Ali Abbas taking first place, Sayed Hussein Al-Haddad finishing second, and Khaled Al-Khalidi in third. In the (6 Cylinder) category, Mohammed Al-Aghbar earned second place.
A number of the club’s competitors were crowned champions of the season in various categories. Fahad Al-Khawari claimed the title of season champion in the (0.9 Index) category, Nasser Burbaa in the (5.8 Bikes) category, Mohammed Al-Matrouk in the (Street Bike) category, Ahmed Al-Kaheel in the (5.4 Index) category, Bader Khorshid in the (0.4 Index) category, Mishaal Al-Saber in the (Pro Bike) category, and Sayed Hussein Al-Haddad in the (Pro NA) category. It is worth noting that the Arab Drag Race Championship, hosted by the Qatari capital Doha, launched last January and consists of six rounds. (KUNA)
