KUWAIT CITY, April 27: Kuwait Municipality has intensified its inspection campaigns across the governorates, with field cleaning teams working to enhance cleanliness and remove violations. In Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate, 73 abandoned vehicles were removed, and 25 violations were issued.
The Public Relations Department of the Kuwait Municipality announced that the teams from the Public Cleaning and Road Occupation Departments will continue their inspections, monitoring and enforcing municipal regulations related to cleanliness and road occupation. The aim is to improve the overall cleanliness of all areas and ensure compliance with municipal laws.
The teams, particularly in the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate, have been conducting thorough tours of residential areas to maintain cleanliness, remove obstacles, and prevent littering outside designated waste containers. They have also focused on cleaning beaches and both main and internal streets. As a result of these efforts, 73 abandoned cars, scrap, motorcycles, and violating commercial containers were removed, and 25 violations were issued for public cleaning and road occupation infractions. Additionally, 21 removal notices were posted, including for abandoned vehicles and violating containers, and 21 old containers were replaced with new ones.
