KUWAIT CITY, April 7: Kuwait Municipality has confirmed that cleaning teams are actively monitoring wedding hall owners and will impose penalties on those found leaving waste in public spaces.
In a statement, the municipality said: "We will not show leniency towards the owner of the wedding hall in the Raqqa area, whose license was revoked after a video surfaced on social media showing him leaving waste at the designated area for the hall and failing to restore it to its clean condition. We want to make it clear that all necessary measures will be taken against him, including the confiscation of his 500-dinar deposit, as well as charging him for the cost of waste removal."
