Khaled Al-Shraida

KUWAIT CITY, May 9: The Kuwait Olympic Committee recently communicated with sports entities in Kuwait via a circular issued, affirming its acknowledgment of the recommendation made by the Board of Directors of Al-Nasr Club, under the leadership of Khaled Al-Sharaida.

Following the nullification of previous elections by the Sports Arbitration Authority, the current Board of Directors of Al-Nasr Club, led by Khaled Al-Shraida, was recommended nearly two months ago. This recommendation opened the door for new election candidacy for the 2024-2028 terms, rendering the upcoming elections scheduled for the 24th of this month unnecessary.

In its correspondence, the Kuwaiti Olympic Committee expressed its adherence to the rulings of the Sports Arbitration Board. It emphasized that the recognition of Al-Nasr Club's Board of Directors, headed by Khaled Al-Shuraida, aligns with the Arbitration Board's decision validating the current Board's recommendation.
