Kuwait Olympic team heads to Doha for training camp

Kuwait Olympic team players hold last training in Kuwait.

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 12: The Kuwait Olympic team will depart today for Doha, Qatar, to begin a training camp that will run until November 27. During this period, the team will play two friendly matches against Qatar on November 15 and 19 as part of its preparations for upcoming competitions.

The team’s training sessions started last Thursday at the subsidiary stadium of Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium, as part of the buildup for the Asian Cup qualifiers set to begin in September 2025.

Croatian coach Dario Bacic has selected 26 players for the camp, including Mohammed Al-Suraie, Abdul-Ridha Shehab, Mohammed Al-Sharifi, Fahad Al-Azmi, Salem Al-Khatlan, Abdullah Al-Ghaniman, Omar Al-Azmi, Jassim Al-Matar, Saleh Al-Muhattab, Abdullah Al-Awadhi, Jarrah Al-Hulaili, Mohsen Falah, Omar Al-Saleem, Talal Al-Hajraf, Ahmed Boudi, Saad Al-Ajmi, Mohammed Al-Rashed, Abdulrahman Al-Rashidi, Bandar Al-Barazi, Omar Al-Matar, Eid Talal, Bader Al-Mansour, Jassim Al-Enezi, Mohammed Al-Kandari, Dari Al-Masri, and Hamoud Al-Sanousi.
