KUWAIT CITY, April 3: Kuwait Police successfully arrested a man who was seen in a viral video assaulting another individual and fleeing from security personnel.

As part of ongoing security efforts, the Capital Governorate Security Directorate, under the Jaber Al-Ahmad Police Station, apprehended the individual who had been filmed escaping from security forces in the video circulating on social media.

The incident began when the operations room received a report of a person threatening and assaulting another. Upon the arrival of security personnel, the suspect fled the scene. Following inquiries, it was revealed that the individual was wanted for arrest and was to be brought to the General Administration of Correctional Institutions. He was subsequently arrested and referred to the appropriate authorities for legal action.

The Ministry of Interior emphasizes its commitment to continuing efforts to apprehend wanted individuals and offenders, ensuring all necessary legal measures are taken against those who threaten public security or endanger society’s safety.
