KUWAIT CITY, Mar 1: Kuwaiti authorities have referred a stateless individual (Bedoun) and another wanted person to the General Department for Drug Control after they were found in possession of narcotics and sharp objects.
According to a security source, the incident occurred when officers stationed at a checkpoint in Ahmadi stopped a vehicle for inspection. The driver was unable to present any form of identification, prompting further investigation. It was later revealed that the driver was a Bedoun and that his passenger was a wanted individual with a history of drug use.
Upon searching the vehicle, officers discovered a bag containing chemicals, remnants of shabu (methamphetamine), a box of rings, a sharp object (knife), and an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects have been handed over to the relevant authorities for further legal action. This arrest highlights the ongoing efforts of Kuwaiti security forces to combat drug-related crimes and maintain public safety.
