KUWAIT CITY, Oct 1: In the third round of the Kuwaiti Premier Football League (Zain League) played on Saturday, Al-Qadisiyah Club and Al-Nasr emerged victorious in their respective matches.

In the first match, Al-Qadisiyah faced off against Al-Fahaheel, securing a 3-0 win. Ibrahima Tandia opened the scoring for Al-Qadisiyah in the 72nd minute, followed by Badr Al-Mutawa's goal in the 76th minute. To add to Al-Fahaheel's woes, their goalkeeper scored an own goal in the 83rd minute, granting Al-Qadisiyah three valuable points. This victory elevated Al-Qadisiyah to third place with 7 points, while Al-Fahaheel remained in ninth place with one point.

Over at Ali Sabah Al-Salem Stadium, Al-Nasr enjoyed a dominant performance against Al-Shabab, securing a convincing 4-0 win. Zapata of Al-Nasr scored in the 9th and 46th minutes, while Al-Shabab's Mami Saher accidentally scored an own goal in the 50th minute. Ayman Lekjaa sealed the victory for Al-Nasr with a goal in the 77th minute. This victory propelled Al-Nasr to fourth place with four points, while Al-Shabab held on to eighth place with two points.

The third round of matches also saw wins for Al-Arabi, Al-Kuwait, Kazma, Al-Qadisiyah, and Al-Nasr against Khaitan, Al-Salmiya, Al-Jahra, Fahaheel, and Al-Shabab, respectively.
