KUWAIT CITY, Nov 9: Kuwait will enter an internal training camp after today's session in preparation for its upcoming World Cup qualifiers against South Korea and Jordan, scheduled for November 14 and 19 at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium. These matches mark the fifth and sixth rounds of Group Two in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Khaled Al-Rashidi and Sultan Al-Enezi are expected to join the team today, while all other players have participated in prior training sessions, except for Hamad Al-Harbi, Youssef Majed, and Abdulrahman Al-Fadhli, who are recovering from minor injuries. The trio is anticipated to return to full training within the next two days.

The team’s roster currently includes 30 players, which will be narrowed down to 23 ahead of the match against Korea on Thursday.

The Kuwaiti Olympic team, managed by head coach Dario Passig, began its training sessions on the subsidiary field of Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium with 26 players in attendance.

The Olympic team is set to depart for Doha midweek for a training camp running from November 13 to 27, where it will play two friendlies against Qatar on November 15 and 19. This camp serves as preparation for the Asian Cup qualifiers, scheduled to begin in September 2025.
