KUWAIT CITY, Nov 8: The health authorities in Gaza made an announcement on Wednesday regarding the arrival of five ambulances to the Gaza Strip, generously provided by the Kuwait Red Crescent Society.

Dr. Mahmoud Hammad, the Head of the Aid Receipt Committee at the Ministry of Palestinian Authorities in Gaza, expressed his gratitude in a statement to KUNA. He emphasized that the State of Kuwait has earned the distinction of being the first country to deliver ambulances to the Gaza Strip since the commencement of the Israeli aggression.

The Palestinian official extended his heartfelt appreciation to Kuwait, including the Amir, the government, and the people, as well as the Kuwait Red Crescent Society and various charitable organizations. He underlined that Kuwait's swift response to the distress call from the Palestinian Ministry of Health was invaluable in supporting the healthcare efforts in Gaza.

Kuwait's commitment to assisting the Gaza Strip was further exemplified by their announcement to send 15 planes loaded with relief and medical supplies. This initiative is part of the Kuwaiti air bridge, initiated under the guidance of the country's political leadership and bolstered by the unwavering support of the Kuwaiti people.
