KUWAIT, Sept 1: Kuwait SC defeated its counterpart Al-Tadamon 2-0, while Al-Nasr beat Al-Sahel by three goals to one in the Zain Kuwait Football Premier League for the season (2022-2023).

In the match held at Ali Sabah Al-Salem Stadium, Kuwait SC player Ahmed Al-Dhafiri scored the first goal in the second minute of the match, while his colleague Yassin Al-Khunaizi doubled the score in the 31st minute through a penalty kick to end the first half with this result.

Kuwait SC maintained its lead throughout the second half amid Al-Tadamon's attempts to score. The match ended with Kuwait SC achieving the first three points of the season, while Al-Tadamun remained without any points.

In the other match held at Al-Shabab Stadium, Al-Nasr club won by 3-1 against its counterpart Al-Sahel which gave them four points, while Al-Sahel remained without a score.

Al-Sahel player Tariq Ajoun in the 13th minute scored the goal, while Al-Nasr equalized the goal in the 17th minute, Al Nasr's Denis added the second goal in the 44th minute. In the second half several attempts were made by Sahel, but his attempts were unsuccessful until Al-Nasr increased his goals after his player Torres who scored the third goal in the 93rd minute.(KUNA)
