Kuwait security campaign results in 1,789 traffic tickets and multiple arrests

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 15: As part of ongoing efforts to apprehend violators and enforce the law, Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior (MOI), under the direct supervision of His Excellency the Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, conducted a security campaign in the Saad Al-Abdullah area on Friday, February 14, 2025. The operation was carried out by the Traffic and Operations Sector and the Private Security Sector, with participation from female police officers.

Results of the Campaign:
- 1,789 traffic violations were issued.
- 11 individuals were arrested for violating residency and labor laws.
- 10 wanted vehicles were seized.
- 10 individuals wanted in connection with legal cases were arrested.
- 4 vehicles were impounded for traffic violations.
- 1 person was arrested without proof of identity.
- 2 individuals were arrested for absenteeism.
- 1 person was referred to traffic authorities.

The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed its commitment to continuing security and traffic enforcement campaigns across the country to apprehend lawbreakers, enforce judicial rulings, and crack down on residency and labor law violations.
