Kuwait Meteorological Department warns of dust and heat this weekend.

KUWAIT CITY, April 17: The Meteorological Department (MD) has forecasted hot weather for the upcoming weekend, with moderate conditions expected at night, as the country is influenced by an extension of a high-pressure system.

Dharar Al-Ali, Director of the Meteorological Department, told KUNA that northwesterly to variable winds, light to moderate in speed, will occasionally pick up, with a chance of dust in open areas.

On Thursday, the weather is expected to be hot, with northerly to northwesterly winds, light to moderate in speed, ranging from 12 to 42 kilometers per hour. Some high clouds may appear, and there is a possibility of dust in open areas. Maximum temperatures are forecast to be between 28 and 30 degrees Celsius. The sea will be light to moderate, with waves ranging between 2 and 5 feet.

Regarding tonight’s weather, Al-Ali indicated that it will be moderate, with northwesterly to variable winds, light to moderate in speed, ranging from 8 to 35 kilometers per hour. Minimum temperatures are expected to range between 15 and 17 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be light to moderate with waves between 2 and 4 feet.

Looking ahead to Friday, Al-Ali predicted hot weather, with variable winds, light to moderate in speed, between 8 and 28 kilometers per hour. Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 30 and 32 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be light to moderate with waves between 1 and 4 feet. On Friday night, the weather will remain moderate, with northwesterly to variable winds, light to moderate in speed, between 8 and 32 kilometers per hour. Minimum temperatures are expected to range between 17 and 19 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be light to moderate with waves between 1 and 4 feet.

On Saturday, the weather will again be hot, with northwesterly to variable winds, light to moderate in speed, ranging from 8 to 28 kilometers per hour. Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 32 and 34 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be light to moderate with waves between 1 and 3 feet. Saturday evening will see moderate weather, with northwesterly to variable winds, light to moderate in speed, between 6 and 28 kilometers per hour. Minimum temperatures are forecast to range between 18 and 20 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be light to moderate with waves between 1 and 3 feet.
