KUWAIT CITY, March 18 : The Kuwait Meteorological Department predicts the onset of rainy weather across the country, starting Monday afternoon, particularly in the western regions. Director of the Department, Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, explained to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that this weather pattern is due to the increase in low and medium clouds, occasionally accompanied by thunderstorms. These conditions are expected to continue until reaching their peak on Tuesday afternoon. Al-Qarawi noted that the rainfall, varying from light to moderate with occasional heavy showers in some areas, may also include hailstorms.

Additionally, strong winds exceeding 60 kilometers per hour are forecasted, leading to high waves in the sea and reduced visibility in certain areas. However, Al-Qarawi assured that weather conditions are expected to gradually improve after midnight on Tuesday, with clouds dissipating and the likelihood of rain decreasing. He also mentioned the potential for fog formation in some areas on Wednesday. Moreover, the forecast indicates a return of light to moderate rainfall on Friday morning after a brief break, with overall weather conditions remaining relatively calm. (KUNA)
