TOKYO, July 23, (KUNA): The Kuwait ShinKyokushin Karate team achieved impressive results at the Karate Dream Festival 2024 International Championship in Japan, securing both first and second places. Karateka Abdulwahab Al-Saleh clinched first place after a series of three bouts, while Eyad Al-Saleh earned second place following four bouts in the tournament held from July 20 to 21 in Tokyo.
In a statement to KUNA, Abdulwahab Al-Saleh expressed his pride in representing Kuwait and achieving first place, describing participation in the tournament as a long-held dream. ShinKyokushin branch chief in Kuwait, Sensei Abdullah Al-Banwan, praised the winners' performance and their dedication to showcasing Kuwait on the international stage.
