GENEVA, Nov 20:  Kuwait's Permanent Representative to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva, Ambassador Nasser Al-Hayen, expressed his praise for Kuwait's participation in the recent annual charity bazaar sponsored by the United Nations.

In a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Ambassador Al-Hayen described Kuwait's involvement in the event as "a humanitarian initiative reflecting Kuwait’s commitment to supporting international organizations’ efforts in providing relief to those in need around the world."

He highlighted that the Kuwaiti pavilion at the event received significant appreciation from ambassadors and dignitaries, with a large turnout of visitors throughout the day.

Ambassador Al-Hayen noted that this contribution is just a small part of Kuwait’s broader humanitarian efforts to alleviate suffering, particularly for women and children in conflict-affected regions, including Lebanon and the Gaza Strip. He emphasized the violations of international conventions faced by these areas due to ongoing conflicts.

The Kuwaiti pavilion showcased a variety of national products and traditional garments during the event, which featured participation from many countries worldwide, all united in supporting charitable projects for children in need.

The United Nations Palace in Geneva annually hosts this charity bazaar, organized by the United Nations Women’s League, a charitable organization dedicated to assisting women and children in need across the globe.
