KUWAIT CITY, Nov 26: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Italian Civil Aviation Authority (ACA) to enhance cooperation and training in various areas, including safety, security, and air navigation.
According to a statement from the DGCA to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the MoU aims to facilitate the exchange of expertise between the two parties, with a focus on improving the performance of employees and ensuring the necessary standards in civil aviation operations.
The agreement also includes coordination on international obligations to serve the interests of both countries.
The MoU was signed by Sheikh Humoud Mubarak Al-Humoud Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Chairman of the DGCA, and Pierluigi Di Palma, Chairman of the Italian Civil Aviation Authority, in the presence of Italian Ambassador to Kuwait Lorenzo Morini and Khaled Al-Mikhial, a representative of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
