KUWAIT CITY, June 6: The Meteorological Department has predicted that the country’s weather over the weekend will be humid and extremely hot during the day, and hot to very hot at night. Director of the Meteorological Department, Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi, informed the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that weather maps and numerical models indicate that the country will be influenced by the extension of the Indian monsoon, bringing a hot and humid air mass along with northwesterly winds that will shift to light to moderate southeasterly winds.

He stated that weather in the evening will be hot to very hot and humid, with varying winds turning northwesterly, light to moderate, at speeds between 8 and 28 kilometers per hour.

The minimum temperature is expected to be between 28 and 31 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be light to moderate with waves between 1 and 4 feet. For Friday, Al-Qarawi mentioned that the weather will be very hot and humid, with variable winds shifting to a southeasterly direction, light to moderate, at speeds between 8 and 32 kilometers per hour. Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 46 and 48 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be light to moderate with waves between 1 and 4 feet. Friday night will also be hot to very hot and humid, with variable winds turning light to moderate southeasterly, at speeds between 8 and 28 kilometers per hour, and minimum temperatures between 28 and 32 degrees Celsius. The sea will have waves between 1 and 3 feet.
