The joy of the Al-Tomooh Club for winning gold in the sailing competition.

ABU DHABI, Oct 7, (KUNA):  Kuwait’s Special Olympics team, representing Al-Tomooh Club, clinched the gold medal at the regional sailing competition for the Middle East and North Africa, held in Dubai last Wednesday and concluded on Sunday. The duo of Nawaf Awadh and Manaf Al-Whaib delivered an outstanding performance to secure first place in the Division Two competition, contributing to the team's overall victory.

Sadiqah Al-Ansari, head of the Kuwaiti Special Olympics delegation, expressed her pride in this achievement in a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA). She attributed the success to the teamwork and collaboration among the athletes.

Al-Ansari also praised the critical support provided by Kuwait’s Public Authority for Youth and Sports, the Kuwaiti Marine Sports Club, and the Al-Tomooh Club. She highlighted the importance of participation in such competitions, noting that the experience gained helps enhance the players' skills and opens new opportunities for them.
