KUWAIT CITY, Sept 19: The Squash Federation will kick off its 2024-2025 on Saturday, with the 16th National Championship (Individuals), running until October 2nd. This championship will feature competitors across all age groups and the women's general category.

The draw for the national championship was conducted last Tuesday, with Secretary-General and Vice-Chairman of the Competitions Committee, Hamed Al-Omran, and Competitions Committee member Abdul Hadi Al-Aryan present, along with representatives from various clubs. The updated squash season schedule has been released, which includes five major events: the General League (split into two divisions), the Federation Cup with a knockout format, and three individual championships.

Hamed Al-Omran also shared that the Competitions Committee proposed to the Arab Federation the reintroduction of club championships for league champions in three categories: under 13, under 17, and general. This proposal was approved by the General Assembly of the Arab Federation and will be implemented starting next season. The inclusion of these championships is expected to heighten the competition in local tournaments and enhance participation in Arab championships.
