KUWAIT CITY, March 13: Kuwait's Meteorological Department (MD) forecasts stable and warm weather during the day, transitioning to cooler temperatures at night over the upcoming weekend. The country is being influenced by an extension of a high-pressure system, which is bringing a warm air mass. As a result, temperatures are expected to rise gradually, with scattered clouds increasing over time and light to moderate rain possible in some areas, particularly in the southern regions, according to the acting Director of the Meteorological Department, Dhirar Al-Ali, who spoke to KUNA on Thursday.
During the day, the weather will remain warm, with northwesterly to variable winds at light to moderate speeds, ranging from 10 to 35 kilometers per hour. Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 26 and 28 degrees Celsius. The sea will be light to moderate, with waves between one and four feet, Al-Ali explained.
Tonight, the weather will be cool with northwesterly to variable winds, light to moderate in speed, ranging from 8 to 30 km/h. Some scattered clouds are expected, with minimum temperatures between 14 and 16 degrees Celsius. The sea will be light to moderate, with waves ranging from 1 to 4 feet.
