Kuwait to experience mild weather this weekend with cool nights

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 7:  The Meteorological Department forecasts mild weather for Kuwait over the weekend, with moderate temperatures during the day and cooler conditions at night, accompanied by scattered clouds.

Meteorological Department Director Dharar Al-Ali informed KUNA that the country is currently influenced by an extended high-pressure system bringing a dry air mass, with light to moderate northwesterly winds that may occasionally strengthen.

Al-Ali stated that Thursday’s daytime weather will be warm to moderate, with light to moderate northwesterly winds occasionally reaching between 12 and 42 kilometers per hour, along with scattered clouds. Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 28 and 31 degrees Celsius. The sea will be light to moderate, with waves rising between 2 and 6 feet at times.

He explained that Thursday night’s weather will be mild to cool, with northwesterly winds, light to moderate in speed and occasionally active, ranging between 12 and 40 km/h, with scattered clouds. Minimum temperatures are expected to be between 18 and 21 degrees Celsius, and the sea will remain light to moderate, with waves rising between 2 and 6 feet at times.

Al-Ali added that Friday’s weather during the day will be warm to moderate, with northwesterly winds light to moderate in speed, occasionally reaching between 12 and 42 km/h, with some scattered clouds. The maximum temperatures are anticipated to be between 28 and 31 degrees Celsius, with a light to moderate sea and waves occasionally rising between 2 and 6 feet.

For Friday night, he said the weather will be moderate to cool and partly cloudy, with light to moderate northwesterly winds that may be active at intervals, ranging between 12 and 40 km/h. There is a slight chance of scattered light rain. Minimum temperatures are forecasted to be between 18 and 21 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be light to moderate, with waves rising between 2 and 6 feet at times.

Looking ahead to Saturday, Al-Ali noted that daytime temperatures will be warm to moderate, with northwesterly to variable winds, light to moderate in speed, ranging from 8 to 35 km/h, and scattered clouds. Maximum temperatures are expected to reach between 29 and 32 degrees Celsius, with a light to moderate sea and waves between 2 and 5 feet.

Saturday night is expected to be mild to cool, with northwesterly to variable winds at a light to moderate speed of 8 to 30 km/h, and scattered clouds. The minimum temperatures are expected to be between 19 and 22 degrees Celsius, with a light to moderate sea and waves between 1 and 3 feet. (KUNA)
