KUWAIT CITY, Jan 16: A major traffic and security campaign conducted by the General Traffic Department and the General Department of Rescue Police in the Sabah Al-Ahmad residential area on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, resulted in numerous arrests and seizures. The operation led to the issuance of 981 traffic violations, the detention of one violator, and the arrest of four individuals for various offenses, including being absent without proof.

Authorities also transferred two juveniles, seized 27 vehicles and two motorcycles, and apprehended a person in possession of suspected narcotics. Additionally, a person was arrested in an abnormal state, and nine vehicles, wanted by the judiciary, were seized. Three individuals wanted for absence and one criminally wanted person were also taken into custody during the operation.

The campaign is part of ongoing efforts by Kuwait’s security forces to maintain law and order across the country.
