KUWAIT CITY, Jan 14: Kuwait University (KU) has announced the acceptance of 29 non-Kuwaiti students for the second semester of the 2024-2025 academic year. Dr. Fadhel Aziz, Acting Dean of Admissions and Registration, explained in a press statement that these students are high school graduates from various nationalities who are eligible for enrollment within the categories set for them.

Dr. Aziz highlighted that the acceptance of non-Kuwaiti students was based on their preferences, in line with the quotas specified for each college by the University Council. This process also took into account the minimum acceptance criteria for Kuwaiti students in various colleges, as well as the admission policy for the 2024-2025 academic year.

He further clarified that the admission policy requires any non-Kuwaiti student to meet or exceed the lowest acceptance percentage for Kuwaiti students in the same specialization.

Dr. Aziz added that SMS notifications will be sent to all accepted students, informing them of the college where they have been accepted. Acceptance must then be confirmed electronically by logging into the university's electronic admission system at http://portal.ku.edu.kw/admission and paying the required fee of 10 Kuwaiti dinars.

All applicants can check the status of their acceptance by visiting the same website. Dr. Aziz congratulated the accepted students and their families, wishing them a successful academic journey.
