This matchup is essentially an early final, crucial for breaking the current tie. Kuwait University currently leads the group with 3 points and a goal difference over Applied University, while Kuwait International Law School sits in third place with no points.

In the second group competitions, the Ali Al Sabah Military College team secured victory over the Australian University with a single goal, elevating their score to 4 points and securing the top spot in the group standings. The Gulf University team follows in second place with one point, and the Australian University is in third place with no points. The outcome of their upcoming match will determine the second team qualifying for the quarter-finals.

Meanwhile, in the Warba Bank Girls Futsal League, the American University team earned a spot in the final after defeating the Australian University 4-1. They will face the Public Authority for Applied Education, who clinched a victory over Kuwait University on penalties (3-1) after a goalless draw.

Dr. Salman Haji emphasized the intense competition witnessed in the Warba Bank Girls’ Futsal League from the preliminary rounds to the semi-finals. He highlighted the participation of 6 private and governmental educational institutions, divided into two groups, with the champions of each group advancing to the semi-finals, and the second and third-placed teams competing in the quarter-finals.
