KUWAIT CITY, July 14: Kuwait University has initiated the application process for the first semester of the academic year 2024/2025, starting tomorrow, Monday, until the 25th of this month. Applications are to be submitted through the university's website and are open to various categories, including students of the unified system, the religious institute, American high school graduates, and those anticipated to graduate (for Kuwait-based schools only). Additionally, Kuwaitis, children of Kuwaiti women, citizens of Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and students residing in Kuwait illegally (Bedouns) (excluding children of Kuwaiti women) are eligible to apply.
According to a press statement released via its official platform, Kuwait University has specified the dates for submitting admission applications at the Admission and Registration Hall in Sabah Al-Salem University City, Shaddadiya. Kuwaiti students and children of Kuwaiti women who obtained their high school certificates from outside Kuwait can apply from the 18th to the 21st of this month. Non-Kuwaiti students, including children of martyrs, children and spouses of diplomats, outstanding students, and children and spouses of university faculty members, can submit their applications on Monday, the 22nd of this month. Non-Kuwaiti students from the category of spouses of Kuwaitis and children and spouses of all members of the supporting academic staff and language teachers working at the university can apply from the 23rd to the 24th of this month. Applications for all categories will be accepted until Thursday, the 25th of this month.
The university also outlined the acceptance procedure, mentioning that Kuwaiti students and children of Kuwaiti women who graduated from American and English high schools and applied online will receive acceptance from Tuesday, the 30th of this month, until Thursday, the 1st of August. English school students expected to graduate are required to submit their original certificates to the university within two working days of the announcement of their results.
Regarding applicants with Saudi General Secondary Certificates, their secondary school percentage will be calculated according to the system used by the National Center for Measurement and Evaluation in Higher Education in Saudi Arabia, considering aptitude and achievement tests.
Kuwait University urges eligible candidates to adhere to the application deadlines and requirements to ensure a smooth admission process for the upcoming academic semester.
