KUWAIT CITY, Sept 30: Kuwait University recorded a decline in the World University Rankings for the year 2024, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The university's position has witnessed fluctuations between rises and falls in this classification over the past years, as during the years 2023 and 2022, it ranked between 801 and 1000, while in 2021 its position was 1001+, and in 2020 it was ranked 801-1000.
The university obtained a score of 19.5 in the teaching standard, 9.9 in the research environment standard, 55.5 in the research quality standard, and 66.4 in the international reputation standard.
This decline comes after the university achieved progress in the QS World University Rankings for the year 2024, issued last July.
