KUWAIT CITY, Dec 30: Following the directives of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled, the Ministry of Interior has devised a comprehensive security plan to maintain order and deter violations during the upcoming New Year holiday in Kuwait.

Major General Abdullah Al-Rajaib, the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security, outlined the plan, emphasizing heavy security presence across all locations and the deployment of 310 security patrols with approximately 1,950 personnel.

The focus includes eight churches, chalets, desert areas, commercial complexes, and crowded places, with coordination with entities like medical emergency services and Kuwait Municipality.

Al-Rajaib urged communities and churchgoers to respect laws and directives, emphasizing adherence to public values to avoid penalties such as deportation and imprisonment.

Security officers will be strategically stationed, and patrols will monitor and address violations. Measures extend to preventing reckless activities on highways, with strict mechanisms in place to deal with offenders.

The plan reflects a proactive approach to ensuring public safety and maintaining order during the holiday period.
