Kuwait urges citizens to leave Lebanon amid security concerns

KUWAIT CITY, June 22: In light of ongoing security developments in the region, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has once again urged citizens to avoid traveling to the Lebanese Republic. The Ministry strongly recommends that citizens currently in Lebanon without urgent necessity depart the country at the earliest opportunity.

The Ministry advises immediate contact with the State of Kuwait’s Embassy in Lebanon for those unable to leave. Citizens can reach the embassy via the emergency phone number: 0096171171441.

This announcement comes as part of the Ministry’s continuous efforts to ensure the safety and security of its nationals abroad.
