Kuwait Visa Trafficking Gang of Egyptians and Syrians Arrested

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 11: Acting on the directives of His Excellency the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, and as part of ongoing efforts to crack down on residency traffickers, the General Department of Residence Affairs Investigations, specifically the Search and Investigation Department, successfully dismantled a gang involved in residency trafficking.

The group, comprised of individuals of Egyptian and Syrian nationality, was found to be transferring the residency status of workers to a non-existent company in exchange for payments ranging from 700 to 1,000 Kuwaiti dinars per worker.

The Ministry of Interior reiterated its unwavering commitment to enforcing the law without exception, stating that security forces are vigilant against anyone attempting to violate legal regulations. All necessary legal actions have been taken against the accused individuals and company owners, who have been referred to the relevant authorities for further action.
