AMMAN, July 3: The Kuwait junior volleyball team will compete in its second match at the Arab Championship for under-17 teams, hosted by Jordan until the 12th of this month. The team will face Iraq in the second round at the Sports Palace Hall in Amman at 7:00 pm. Concurrently, Bahrain will play against Saudi Arabia, and Libya will compete with Qatar.

The team started its journey against Saudi Arabia. It is scheduled to play against the host, Jordan, on July 7th, Bahrain on the 8th, Libya on the 10th, and Qatar on the 11th to conclude the preliminary league. The tournament features a single-round league format, where the top four teams from the first round will advance directly to the semifinals, with the winners vying for the championship title.

The technical staff of the Kuwait national junior volleyball team, led by Khaled Al-Mutairi and assisted by Meshaal Al-Sabti, prepared for the Arab Championship through an external camp held in Cairo before the competition, which included several trial matches.
