KUWAIT CITY, Nov 4: The delegations of teams participating in the His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Shooting Championship, scheduled for November 8 to 16, continue to arrive in Kuwait. Today, the Qatari and Bahraini team delegations are expected to land, following the arrival of officials and administrators from the Qatari Federation.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Organizing Committee, led by Kuwaiti and Arab Shooting Federation President Eng. Duaij Al-Otaibi is finalizing organizational details to ensure a successful championship. Known for excellence in hosting esteemed competitions, the committee is dedicated to delivering an event that upholds the high standards expected by participating delegations.
Secretary-General of the Kuwaiti and Arab Shooting Federations and Championship Director Obaid Al-Osaimi is actively overseeing the latest preparations, regularly meeting with subcommittees to ensure seamless organization.
Hamad Al-Ruwaisan, head of the cartridge referees committee at the Kuwait Shooting Federation, announced that a refresher course for participating referees will be held the day after tomorrow. This course aims to update referees on recent changes in international shooting laws and clarify their responsibilities. He noted that 22 experienced Kuwaiti referees, all internationally certified, will officiate the competitions. Preparations for these referees began four months ago to ensure fairness and adherence to regulations in every match.
Khaled Jarid, head of the bullet referees committee, confirmed the referees' readiness for the Championship. Having completed refresher training, referees were briefed on the latest international shooting laws. Jarid emphasized that the professionalism and skill of Kuwait’s shooting referees are highly regarded in regional and international competitions.
