RIYADH, April 18 (KUNA): Kuwait continued its strong showing at the 6th Asian Junior Athletics Championship in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, with two podium finishes.
Kuwaiti high jumper Mohammad Al-Duaij claimed the gold medal after clearing a height of 2.005 meters in an impressive performance that secured top honors in the event, the Kuwait Olympic Committee announced in a statement.
Meanwhile, fellow Kuwaiti athlete Abdullatif Faisal earned the silver medal in the 800-meter race, clocking a time of 1 minute and 53.33 seconds.
