KUWAIT CITY, Nov 14: Kuwait Winter Games Club Chairman Fahid Al-Ajmi recently honored the junior players from the club’s ice hockey school following their impressive 7-1 victory over the Omani team in a friendly match held last Friday in Muscat.

Al-Ajmi highlighted the club’s commitment to nurturing young talent across its various sports, emphasizing that these age groups represent the future of Kuwaiti winter sports. He mentioned that the club is focused on preparing these young athletes to represent Kuwait in the 2029 Asian Winter Games, set to take place in Neom, Saudi Arabia.

He also noted the club's dedication to enhancing the players’ skills through intensive training camps and regular official and friendly matches. Al-Ajmi praised the unwavering support of the players' parents, acknowledging their vital role in helping to elevate the team’s technical abilities.

During the ceremony, parents also honored Al-Ajmi for his dedication to the players’ growth. Additionally, the team’s coach and the administrative and technical staff at the Ice Hockey School received recognition for their valuable contributions.
