KUWAIT CITY, Oct 26: Kuwait Winter Games Club recently honored athletes Safaa Al-Abdullah and Salil Al-Abdullah, who collectively won six medals (three each) at the Dubai International Freestyle Skiing Championship, which concluded recently. The honors were presented by the club’s honorary president, Sheikh Jaber Al-Bandar Al-Sabah.
The ceremony took place alongside the club's sports and social activities held to raise breast cancer awareness, aligning with World Breast Cancer Month observed each October. The event featured an exhibition match between the Ice Hockey School teams and the women’s team, drawing a large and enthusiastic crowd.
