KUWAIT CITY, Oct 28: The Kuwait Under-17 team achieved a resounding 9-0 victory over the Northern Mariana Islands in their final Group 7 match of the Asian Cup qualifiers, scheduled for 2025 in Saudi Arabia.

In another group game, Australia and Indonesia played to a goalless draw, with Australia advancing to the finals as group leader due to goal difference, while Indonesia also qualified as one of the best second-place teams.

Kuwait’s victory served as a morale boost following earlier losses to Indonesia and Australia, with scores of 0-1 and 1-3, respectively. Kuwait’s junior team controlled the game from the outset, scoring five goals in the first half and adding four more in the second.
