Kuwaiti accused of wife’s killing in Saudi desert ‘denied release’

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 17: The Detention Renewal Department has denied the release of a Kuwaiti citizen who is accused of murdering his wife in Abu Hadriya Desert in Saudi Arabia while they were returning from Bahrain by land. It is worth highlighting that the citizen continues to deny the allegations. Earlier, he told the prosecution that he only left his wife in Abu Hadriya desert and did not kill her. His family has claimed that he is an addict and suffers from mental health issues for which he is receiving treatment in a psychiatric hospital.
