Kuwaiti Ambassador to India highlights need for expanding bilateral relations

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 10: Kuwaiti Ambassador to India, Mishal Al-Shamali, emphasized the significance of expanding bilateral relations between Kuwait and India to new levels today, Thursday. His comments were made during a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) after meeting with Bhupendrabhai Patel, the Chief Minister of Gujarat.

Al-Shamali stated that the meeting, held at Patel's residence in Gandhi Nagar while attending the Gujarat Festival of Culture and Arts, focused on strengthening ties between Kuwait and Gujarat in areas of mutual interest, including food and water security, the information technology sector, and the advancement of renewable green energy.

He highlighted the long-standing friendship, shared accomplishments, and growing cooperation between Kuwait and India.

Al-Shamali also participated in the cultural program, which runs from October 3 to 11 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and showcases various forms of art and culture.

He commended the ongoing exchange between the two countries in the fields of art and culture, emphasizing the role of cultural exchange in fostering deeper connections between the two nations.
