KUWAIT CITY, Oct 1: A deputy police officer at Al-Qashaniyyah police station and a citizen have exchanged accusations. The police officer claimed he was insulted, while the citizen alleged he was physically assaulted and verbally abused. The case has been referred for investigation. According to a security source, the deputy officer stated that he was insulted while carrying out his duties. However, the citizen, in his testimony, denied the accusation and claimed he was beaten and verbally mistreated.
