KUWAIT CITY, May 26: The Public Prosecution has ordered the detention of a Kuwaiti citizen on charges of spreading fake news that could harm the country’s national interests, engaging in a hostile act against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and promoting a terrorist organization through his personal account on the social networking site "X." In a statement released today, the prosecution announced that the accused had been interrogated and confronted with the charges. The investigation procedures are ongoing.
