Kuwaiti athletes arrive in Taif for the 10th Arab Championship

TAIF, Saudi Arabia, Sept 12: The Kuwaiti junior athletics team recently arrived in Taif, Saudi Arabia, to participate in the 10th Arab Junior Championship. Saad Khalifa, a Kuwait Athletics Federation Board of Directors member, expressed optimism to KUNA about the team’s chances, stating that they are prepared to deliver strong performances and secure medals and top positions in the tournament.

Khalifa highlighted the intensive training camp the junior team completed in Turkey to prepare for the championship, emphasizing the athletes’ high physical and technical readiness levels. The championship runs until September 15. A total of 18 teams, including Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the UAE, Egypt, and others, are represented by 241 athletes, competing across 20 events.
