ABU DHABI, April 19 (KUNA): Kuwaiti brothers Zaid and Abdulaziz Al-Sulaitin delivered outstanding performances at the UAE International Professional Jiu-Jitsu Open Championship, held in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, each clinching a gold medal in their respective categories.

Zaid Al-Sulaitin secured the gold in the under-14, 41 kg division, showcasing exceptional technical skill and dominance throughout his matches. He outperformed strong contenders from the UAE, Jordan, Iran, and Lebanon to take the top podium spot.

His younger brother, Abdulaziz Al-Sulaitin, triumphed in the under-12, 30 kg division. Displaying remarkable determination and strength, he overcame tough competition from Britain, Yemen, Egypt, the UAE, and Oman to win gold.

Their victories highlight Kuwait’s growing presence in international jiu-jitsu and reflect the promising future of young Kuwaiti athletes on the global stage.
