Kuwaiti bowling team wins double bronze at Arab Championship in Cairo

CAIRO, Nov 10, (KUNA): The Kuwaiti bowling team recently secured two bronze medals in the Masters event at the 11th Arab Championship for men and the 7th for women.

Kuwait's achievement came as player Mohammed Abdullah took third place in the men’s division, and Wasmiya Al-Abdullah claimed third in the women’s division during the championship’s final in Cairo, Egypt.

Following the coronation, Kuwaiti team coach Ayad Al-Amiri told KUNA, “We earned third place in the Arab Championship behind the Saudi team in first and the Emirati team in second.”

He extended his gratitude to Sheikh Talal Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, President of the International and Asian Bowling Federations, for his support in preparing the team to achieve this honorable performance.

Al-Amiri highlighted the federation’s strategic plan and technical staff’s efforts to train future generations capable of representing Kuwait in Arab, Asian, and international competitions, emphasizing the country’s commitment to nurturing youth in all fields.
