KUWAIT CITY, Dec 7: Customs officers successfully thwarted an attempt to smuggle nearly 250,000 pills of the narcotic drug Lyrica into the country.
The drugs were concealed in shipments from China, which were falsely labeled as clothing. Upon inspection, the officers discovered bags of animal food products that contained approximately 250,000 pills of the psychotropic substance Lyrica. A seizure report was filed, and all necessary customs procedures were followed.
