Kuwaiti international expert, Lama Ahmed Abdel-Al.

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 30: Kuwaiti international expert, Lama Ahmed Abdel-Al, affirms that the equestrian sport in Kuwait boasts a substantial group of young male and female riders actively engaging in the introductory stages at heights of 70 and 90 cm. These budding riders are poised to play a pivotal role in advancing Kuwaiti equestrianism.

Expressing gratitude, Lama Abdel-Al acknowledges the support from private companies and sponsors for equestrians, along with the ongoing backing from the General Sports Authority, which remains a primary driver in the development of Kuwaiti equestrianism.

Highlighting the recent progress in Kuwaiti equestrian sport, particularly in show jumping, she notes the presence of numerous competitive riders across the initial, intermediate, and advanced stages. However, she emphasizes the need for additional support, given the high costs associated with acquiring horses and organizing training camps in European countries.

Lama Abdel-Al expresses her joy in participating in the management of "The Stadium" show jumping championship. Notably, this championship marks a significant milestone as the first event held on Marina Beach, attracting the participation of over 500 male and female riders.
