Kuwaiti gymnasts ready for Salmanov International Championship in Maribor

MARIBOR, June 6: The Kuwait artistic gymnastics team is set to participate in the Salmanov International Championship, taking place in Maribor, Slovenia, from June 5 to 9.

Representing the youth team are Abdullah Miqdad, Musa Al-Sahhaf, Hussein Dashti, Saud Al-Rudaini, and Saud Al-Sanawi, while Fatima Al-Nama will represent the girls’ team.

The gymnastics delegation departed for Slovenia yesterday, led by Muhammad Al-Daihani, a member of the federation’s Board of Directors. The delegation also includes administrator Khaled Al-Mithen, Ukrainian coaches Vitaly Arseniev and Mustafa Al-Shafi’i, and referees Badr Hassan, Salah Askar, and Rabab Al-Haris.

The Salmanov Championship is renowned for its high level of competition in artistic gymnastics and is recognized by the International Federation of Gymnastics. The event features elite male and female gymnasts from across Europe.
