Kuwaiti Man Apologizes After Inappropriate Balcony Incident in Pattaya

PATTAYA, Aug 29: A concerning incident involving a Kuwaiti national was reported by a local student from a school in Pattaya. The student recorded video footage of a man engaging in inappropriate behavior on the balcony of his condominium, clearly visible to students, teachers, and parents, which led to swift action, reports Pattaya Mail.

The foreign national, identified as a Kuwaiti man in his mid-20s, has since expressed deep regret for his actions. He stated that he was unaware of being visible to others and did not realize he could be seen. The man has issued an apology to the condominium owner, the local community, and especially to the students who witnessed the incident.

The video, which shows the man exposing his lower body and engaging in inappropriate behavior, played a key role in the investigation conducted by Pattaya City Police. Authorities have issued a warning to the individual and are taking measures to prevent such incidents in the future.

Reckless Kuwaiti bikers in Pattaya

Meanwhile, the recent rise in reckless behavior by young Middle Eastern and Kuwaiti tourists in Pattaya is causing growing concern. These visitors, often in their late teens, are taking to the streets on motorcycles, performing dangerous stunts, racing through narrow alleys, and disturbing the peace, leaving residents frustrated.

A key issue is the ease with which these tourists can rent motorcycles, often with just a passport and proof of residence, despite lacking experience or an international driver’s license. This has led to frequent accidents and streets scarred by tire marks.

Local businesses are also suffering. Motorcycle rental owners, like "Mr. M," report damaged bikes, unpaid fees, and vandalism. In one case, a tourist-filled a gas tank with water, causing severe damage. Some renters also fail to pay, citing delays in receiving overseas funds, leading Mr. M to blacklist problematic customers.
