KUWAIT CITY, Jan 14: A 33-year-old Kuwaiti man has been detained at Al-Faihaa Police Station following a case of incitement to debauchery and immorality filed against him. The arrest came after he confessed to the charges during the investigation.

The case was initiated by a 32-year-old woman, employed at a government ministry, who reported receiving abusive and immoral messages via WhatsApp while at her residence in Al-Faihaa. She provided authorities with the phone number linked to the messages as evidence.

Upon investigation, the General Investigations Department identified the owner of the phone line through coordination with mobile service providers. The accused voluntarily appeared at the investigation headquarters, where he admitted to sending the incriminating messages. Further inquiries revealed that the man has a history of previous cases registered against him.

Legal proceedings are ongoing, and the authorities are taking the necessary measures against the accused.
