Post-Eid work resumes: Kuwait ministries witness high employee attendance.

KUWAIT CITY, June 20: Following the conclusion of the Eid Al-Adha holiday, employees of various ministries and government agencies resumed their work schedules yesterday morning, with the majority adhering to their commitments, albeit with a few exceptions.

Al-Anbaa closely monitored the return of employees after the holiday period, which saw many taking advantage of the festive atmosphere for travel.

Ministry of Affairs: At the Ministry of Affairs, approximately 72% of employees were present, with 7% on regular periodic vacations and 6.07% absent without leave. The Civil Service Commission will address unexplained absences.

Disability Authority: Attendance at the Public Authority for the Affairs of Persons with Disabilities exceeded 75%, with justifiable absences including periodic and emergency leaves.

Public Authority for Manpower: Over 75% of employees at the Public Authority for Manpower maintained their working hours, with 25% on justified leaves. Unexplained absences will face scrutiny from the Civil Service Bureau.

Government institutions in Kuwait returned to work with renewed enthusiasm, although a few employees continued to enjoy their post-Eid vacations, particularly during the summer and travel season, returning with high morale and readiness to tackle the challenges ahead.

Highlights from Various Ministries:

  • Commerce and Industry: Ministry employees displayed enthusiasm and modernization in service provision, both physically and through online platforms.
  • Residential Affairs: The General Corporation for Housing Welfare facilitated citizen services with efficiency and dedication.
  • Media: Employees at the Ministry of Information exhibited commitment and teamwork in delivering media services with professionalism.
  • Public Works: Employees at the Ministry of Public Works demonstrated determination in infrastructure projects, ensuring progress and continuous improvement.
  • Roads Authority: The General Authority for Roads and Land Transport worked energetically to improve infrastructure for community benefit.

At the Ministry of Education, attendance exceeded 90%, with employees fulfilling their duties diligently. Ministry of Health employees adhered to official working hours, serving visitors and completing transactions efficiently.

Employees across ministries reaffirmed their commitment to serving the nation and citizens, praying for Kuwait's continued security and prosperity.
